Remember Bear? He STILL Need Us to Continue FIGHTING..Pup Who Was Hit By Car And Then Dumped at High Kill Shelter

The day he rescue from the shelter:

Thanks to a botch amputation by MDAS poor Bear has had 48 hours of nothing but pain. He was vetted after leaving the shelter but the pain med's prescribed were not helping, Last night he was rushed to the emergency vet where he spent the night on morphine. This morning he was taken to Crystal Lake where he will have to stay. Part of the incision is open and infected. His penis also has trauma all I guess resulting from being hit by a car. Regardless MDAS did not do right by him. Sadly now he pays the price. We will do all that is needed for him and spare no expense. Over $900.00 has been spent and he is now getting 24/7 care.

A update on Bear , he will be having emergency surgery Tuesday morning. Our total so far is t $2,200.00 for his care and we are not done yet.

Bear Update, Sorry for the graphic image but trying to fix the disaster that MDAS did is a nightmare. Bear had repair surgery to is penis which had a bone protruding out of it. They also drained a cup of pus from the site of the amputation, both areas are infected. They have sent out cultures to see the degree of the infection. We were able to pay today's bill but we are no where near done. He still requires reconstruction surgery on the incision area where MDAS removed his leg. This can't be done now due to infection and no healthy skin to work with. A MRI or CT scan may also be needed as there is damage to his neck and his tongue is also swollen. All most likely from being hit by a car. MDAS left the catheter in his leg and that is infected. He is on IV morphine, antibiotics, and for feeding. We have a long road ahead.

Baby Bear today as you can see he is much better , still a long road and more surgery but warmed my heart to see him not crying in pain.

A bit graphic but this is what Baby Bear looks like today. Trying to fix all the mistakes from MDAS. This is why this dog was screaming in pain. We are still waiting to do reconstructive surgery on the leg they removed. The wound was so infected and the skin is rotted. We have to wait for some new fresh skin to use when they remove the rotted skin to re close the wound. All this could have been avoided had they done it right and also had saw the bone sticking out of his penis. This to me is animal abuse ...But I will clean up their mess no matter the cost he is worth every penny. Thank you to all that have helped with donating so far but we still have a long way to go.

Donations are needed for his continued care. If you can please donate via Pay Pal to Helpingpaws22@yahoo.com and but Bear on the subject
