Young Pup Surrendered To Kill Shelter By Heartless Owner, Is Just Too Sad To Greet Visitors Anymore

When Brayden was told he was going out for a walk on one sunny, California afternoon, the happy go lucky pup could not contain his excitement. However, something was a bit off with this walk, as his owner ordered him into the back seat of his car, and the two went for a ride.

The destination wasn’t a dog park, but rather the notoriously high-kill San Bernardino Animal Shelter (SBAC) in San Bernadino, California. As a confused Brayden entered the facility and watched his owner walk away, he openly wept, wondering what on earth he did to deserve such a betrayal.

The scared pup, who tried to put on a brave face in the first days of his kennel run, has all but shut down emotionally. Unfortunately, patrons to the SBAC often pass him up for other dogs, and so the motivation to greet new visitors to the shelter has all but vanished.

Speak Up! a kill shelter is no place for Brayden to spend the rest of his days. If you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family he rightfully deserves, please contact the San Bernardino Animal Shelter at (909) 384-1304 and reference the shelter ID #A502271.
