Street Pup Who Was Hit By Car And Then Dumped at High Kill Shelter, Is Running Out of Hope

Imagine for a moment if you will and picture yourself as having a bad parent who didn’t want you anymore. After doing your best to survive, picking through garbage, looking for any kind of scraps to eat for the sake of your survival, when the worst happens. One day, you end up crossing the street, and you get struck by a car and are left hobbling with a life-threatening leg injury that might require an amputation.

This isn’t the script to some melodramatic Hollywood produced film but instead, the real life story of an unnamed dog trapped inside of the high kill Miami-Dade Animal Services, in Miami, Florida. Due to the severity of the injury suffered by the pup, Doctors will, unfortunately, have to amputate the pup’s leg, to prevent infection from spreading. Sad indeed.

A kill shelter is no place for a dog, who due to no fault of his own, is suffering from incredible physical pain, and agony. Speak Up! if you or someone you know is interested in giving this precious pup the forever family he deserves, please contact the Miami-Dade Animal Services at (305) 884-1101 and reference the shelter ID #A1859837.

Additionally, please share this story on Facebook or Twitter, so we are closer to finding this pup the home he deserves. We have done it before and can certainly do it again.
